My name is Natalie Sanaty and I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner with full practice authority in the state of Florida and the founder of The Wholistic NP.  My story began in rural Germany in a small town called Straß where I grew up until the age of 14 when we moved to Salt Lake City Utah. I was exposed to holistic measures at an early age by my mother who relied on homeopathic remedies and my grandmother who took a special interest in Ayurvedic medicine.

When it came time to choose a career I felt that medicine chose me as I was always drawn to helping others. I received a Bachelor's degree in nursing from Westminster College and embarked on my dream job at the University of Utah Hospital in the step-down ICU. At that time my passion was to become an Air Med nurse which led me to transfer to the medical ICU. During my early years as an ICU nurse, I remember feeling very fulfilled with providing critical care and helping those at their worst.

        As time went on and I was witness to serious illness and end-of-life care, I started to realize that many of these hospitalizations could have been prevented. This created a shift in focus from life-sustaining to preventative care measures which led me on my journey to become a family nurse practitioner. Three years in, I realized that our current medical system is falling short of truly healing our patients due to treating symptoms rather than eradicating the cause.

In my quest to find answers on how to address the root cause of disease, I completed my studies with the Institute of Functional Medicine and became a certified functional medicine practitioner. Along the way, I was also introduced to NET (Neuro Emotional Technique), which is a transformative stress-relieving technique. I decided to get certified in NET to help my patients cope with acute and chronic stress and achieve their full potential.
